In terms of age, the requirements are the same as they were in the cabin. 10 weeks old and weaned for domestic travel, 15 weeks old for travel to the EU, or 16 weeks old to travel to other countries.
If you are to send your pet through Delta Cargo, make sure that the carrier is under 24 inches (61 cm) in height. However, there is an expectation for Service Animals, Emotional Support Animals, and military reservations.
